I feel like a dope for having to ask, but have there been any studies investigating the possible link between social isolation and susceptibility to radicalization? I’ve seen plenty of anecdotal stuff, but no studies come to mind.

Specifically, the chapter, “The Right To The Future Tense,” paints a pretty vivid picture of the humanist underpinnings of contract law and the its subversion by surveillance capitalists.
People will tell you that The Age of Surveillance Capitalism is a good book, but it’s better than I expected.
It doesn’t just explain technology’s contribution to the present age’s inhumanity, but has some poignant reflections on an alternative reality where people can actually thrive.
